It is important to help others, but it's just as important to make sure that we are also taking care of ourselves. Ask yourself: How am I feeling lately? Am I taking care of my body? Am I taking time to do things I love? It's okay to lean on others for support when necessary.
We can't spread awareness if we aren't willing to talk about the topic at all! It may be hard at times, but don't avoid the uncomfortable conversations. And remember, it's equally as important to be willing to listen to others.

Often, those struggling from a mental illness are hesitant to reach out for help. It is easy to feel like a burden and to want to deal with everything alone. B
